![]() There are +/- volume and play/pause controls on the HMDX Jam itself the detente can bring the volume to max or min in just a few steps. It’s pretty loud, but not earth-shaking loud. At up to about 90% max volume, I was impressed with lows and highs, and clear presentation. Sound - the weight of the speaker magnet convinced me this unit had potential, and I was not disappointed. But powering down/up the HMDX Jam solved the problem, after a minute or so. ![]() Pressing it to the limits, I wanted to see how easy it was to pair/repair, and did experience some Droid delays turning on/off the pairing. It also makes play/idle/play transition alerts, but these weren't as noticeable (so far). When powered up, it makes a startling, loud 3-note sound - this is not configurable, and is very annoying. It paired up immediately with my Droid Bionic, but my ThinkPad T60 did not discover it at all. I picked one up at Best Buy yesterday, Blueberry color (note - I didn't find the blue color online, so have entered this under grape).
